About the event

In the last several months, over 300,000 Black women have been pushed out of the U.S. labor force. Too often, it’s not a lack of talent or effort; it’s a lack of access.

Reclaim the Network was created to change that.

This free, virtual networking event is designed to help Black women, and those invested in our collective wellbeing, make meaningful professional connections. Whether you’re job-seeking, hiring, or simply open to building authentic relationships, this space is for you.

After writing about the barriers Black women face in an article, “No Friends in the Pipeline: Why 300,000 Black Women Were Pushed Out of the Workforce,” I realized that awareness alone isn’t enough; we need action.

This event is my effort to practice what I preach: to use my network, my labor, my time, and my community to help Black women get connected to people who can open doors.

Each connection made through Reclaim…
