Resistance in the Age of Mass Surveillance

We are living during a time when everything we do is being tracked, monitored and surveilled. Our resistance efforts must meet the moment. How can we resist during times of mass surveillance? This virtual talk, hosted by Dr. Janice Gassam Asare, explores what strategic resistance can look like during these times. Drawing on the lessons explored in the book Rise and Resist, this talk will focus on the legacy of Black resistance and what we can learn from these legacies about resistance during times of mass surveillance.
